Privacy, in one breath

The app makes no network requests at all — the Moon is computed, not downloaded, so it works the same in airplane mode as it does at home. If you ask for moonrise and moonset it needs your location, and that stays on the phone: it is used to work out the angle, then forgotten. The full policy is short because there's nothing to confess.
