• When someone drops out or joins late, preview the impact first. Secret Santa preserves the maximum possible assignments and updates only the people whose secret changed.

Fair before festive

A Secret Santa draw should not rely on hope. This one treats every relationship as a real rule, checks the complete group as one system, and never claims a broken setup is ready. Once names are delivered, the assignments lock until the organizer explicitly reviews and confirms a change.

Privacy, in one breath

Draws are stored in protected local storage, excluded from backups, and never uploaded to Kildal Smthng. A shared secret travels inside the private message link you choose to send; the reveal page decodes it locally and sends nothing to smthng.fun. Anyone with the link can reveal it, so each one should be sent privately. The full policy.
